The Soldiers Memorial Hall at 52 Raglan Street has had many incarnations during its history. Starting as a club for returned servicemen in 1920, it was later used by the Manly Rugby Club and most recently Manly Fishos Club.

As this space had been vacant for several years, we were privileged to work with the design team at Northern Beaches Council to lift the building from a state of disrepair creating a new office space for Council staff and a range of community service providers.

Works involved extensive adjustments to create disabled access to the ground floor, repairs to the walls and flooring, and a careful and respectful upgrade of the Heritage stone façade. Provision of office partitioning, new meeting rooms, break out areas and a kitchenette have created a warm and welcoming space where the community can access much needed services.
