Wolper Jewish Hospital

Working under a D&C arrangement, Grindley Interiors, in collaboration with RJA Project Management, JHA and Morrison Design Partnership Architects, completed the refurbishment and upgrade works at Wolper Jewish Hospital in Woollahra.

Successfully working through the height of COVID-19 restrictions in a fully operational hospital, Grindley installed a new internal lift and shaft, an extended fire stair, a refurbished reception, a new café, three new patient rooms and a converted attic to house new offices and store rooms.

The project presented technical challenges around staging, passive fire protection, BCA compliance, structural engineering and existing services, all of which were overcome with collaborative and innovative design solutions.
