St Pius X College

Grindley Interiors were engaged by St Pius X College to complete the refurbishment of their Block C building. Working alongside TKD architects, Shelmerdines Service Engineers and Woolacotts Structural Engineers, Grindley  revitalised the space with the construction of six Advanced Learning Spaces, new offices and a new maintenance workshop. In addition to the internal refurbishment works, new bespoke balustrades, stair finishes and windows were added externally to provide an architectural uplift to the exterior of the building.  

The Client required the project to be delivered through the end-of-year break to minimise disruption to the school’s operations. To enable this, a significant lead-in period was required to ensure that all labour and materials could be secured for installation within this time frame. Furthermore, a clear communication strategy between all stakeholders was implemented from the outset of the project. This involved a significant number of planning and coordination meetings between all parties to facilitate the delivery of the project over a challenging time of year.  

The result of such extensive planning was the successful completion of a beautiful and productive new learning space which inspires creativity and connection. Grindley looks forward to future working opportunities with project team.
