Mt St Joseph's Home

Working with Thomson Adsett Architects, Grindley were engaged under an ECI arrangement to manage the design and delivery of the kitchen, laundry and administration upgrades at Mt St Joseph’s Home in Randwick.

Part of the project works required Grindley to develop a temporary laundry and kitchen solution to enable full facility operation whilst the works were undertaken. Food preparation facilities were provided with a modular kitchen connected into the building with a custom built walkway. Laundry services were maintained by relocation the existing laundry equipment to the main hall with temporary power, water and drainage provisions installed. Working over a four month period, the two floor refurbishment was completed as planned to the pleasure of all involved.
