Growth and Promotion at Grindley Interiors

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of David Elliott to General Manager, Grindley Interiors. The promotion is in response to Grindley Interiors sustained growth and David’s unwavering commitment to our organisation. In his new role he will continue to work alongside Director, Andrew Sanderson and Julie O’Keefe, General Manager Client and Corporate Services, to take the division from strength to strength.

David commenced his career with Grindley Construction in 2010 as a Cadet, quickly gaining experience with onsite construction processes, contracts administration and estimating. In 2011, David acted as the lead estimator on Grindley Interiors’ first successful tender to refurbish Waverley Courthouse and subsequently joined our Interiors team to complete his cadetship in the fit-out and refurbishment sector.

Following David’s graduation from the University of Technology with a Bachelor of Construction Project Management (first class honours), he was offered a full-time role with Grindley Interiors as Contracts Administrator and Estimator. As the Interiors division grew, David’s role was expanded to include Project Management. During his time, he assisted in the delivery of various commercial, aged care, education and residential projects and worked closely with Andrew Sanderson to ensure Grindley’s corporate commitment to a Client facing philosophy. In 2016, David elected to focus on estimating and soon accepted the position of Chief Estimator. Now in 2019, his technical acumen, Client relationship focus and management skills will be embraced in the General Manager role.

Dave’s appointment continues the Grindley ethos of investing in our most valuable asset, our staff. Congratulations Dave.
