McQuoin Park Official Opening

Wahroonga’s newest aged care service, McQuoin Park, held its official opening on May 9th after welcoming residents to the home six months ago.

The 122 room service was officially blessed by the Very Reverend Robert Borg, Dean and Administrator of Hornsby Cathedral Parish, and the first official opening plaque was proudly revealed by Mr Alister Henskens SC MP, Member for Ku-ring-gai.

David Maher, Managing Director of Catholic Healthcare addressed the attendees, including some proud residents, with brief information about the home’s inception; also sharing his aspirations for the home’s future.

Andrew Kinkade, General Manager of Residential Aged Care at Catholic Healthcare also shared his gratitude to the property team, making special mention of the “state-of-the-art architectural design”. “This new state-of-the-art home offers optimal quality of life and comfort for our residents,” he said. “We have so many people to thank for this, including our Catholic Healthcare property team and our contracted builders, Grindley Construction.”
