Who's moving up at Grindley?

Grindley Construction is proud to announce several exciting promotions in our leadership team in New South Wales and Queensland effective from January 2015.

Alan Carstens, Rod Burger and Martin Patience remain Owners and Directors of the company and will continue in their roles, supporting our staff and clients as they have done collectively since 1988.

 

Matthew Macauley - Chief Executive Officer

As of January 2015, Matthew will take over the role of CEO from Martin Patience. Matthew joined Grindley in 2002, was promoted to Construction Manager in 2010 and then Director in 2012. Matthew’s endorsement by the Board of Directors is a testimony to his years of loyalty and dedication. His energy and enthusiasm will be fundamental in guiding the company through it’s next exciting phase of growth and development.

 

Evan Graves - New South Wales Construction Manager

Evan will replace Matthew as NSW Construction Manager. Having commenced with Grindley in 2008, Evan was soon promoted to Project Manager and has delivered some of our largest and most complex projects to date. As NSW Construction Manager, Evan will be responsible for the delivery of $110 million of confirmed New South Wales projects in 2015, and will ensure that Grindley continues to live by our mantra of “commitment”. Commitment to our clients and commitment to the quality of projects that our clients expect.

 

Ashley Curtis - Queensland Construction Manager

Ashley commenced with Grindley in 2004, progressed to Project Manager and will now take the lead of our Queensland office. The Grindley Queensland team have secured a number of exciting projects for 2015, namely Kinsgford Terrace, Litchfield Building (Stage 1B) for Prescare and Tricare's Sunnybank Hills Aged Care. Delivering these projects with an unwavering “client first focus” is Ashley and his team’s highest priority for 2015.

 

Julie O'Keefe - General Manager, Client and Corporate Services

Having joined the company in 2011, Julie’s role as Business Development Manager has now evolved to incorporate the management of Grindley’s corporate and client services, in addition to development and implementation of the Company Strategic Roadmap over the next five years. Julie and Rod Burger work closely together to ensure our clients needs and expectations are at the centre of our business practices.
